Other Tours Include: Glenveagh National Park lies in the heart of the Derryveagh Mountains in the northwest of Co. Donegal. It is a remote and hauntingly beautiful wilderness of rugged mountains and pristine lakes. The site occupied by the Castle and Gardens was wild mountain moorland. In 1869 the first part of the Castle was constructed. However it was not until the mid 1880's that the Gardens were started. The two major elements of the Garden, the Pleasure Gardens and the Walled Garden were constructed in the late 1880's. The original Victorian Garden layout remains intact. The Giant’s Causeway is
situated on the North coast of Ireland about two miles north of Bushmills.
The Causeway is an area of approximately 40,000 interlocking basalt columns,
the result of an ancient volcanic eruption - however the legend is more
convincing for those who prefer a more colourful story. The story tells that
the Giant’s Causeway was built by “Finn McCool” as a walkway to fight the
Scottish giant “Benandonner”.
We can customise a Tour to suit your
requirement. |
